Jordan Essentials Review + Giveaway

What's the last thing you did for you? After you've nurtured everyone else, do you make the effort for self-care? It's vital to our health yet something many of us neglect. After all it's another to-do.

What if it could be made simpler? My new friend Beth Ann helped me and I know she can assist you. She is a Christian business owner with Jordan Essentials, wife, home school teacher, mother of 2, and manages a team of 20 other consultants. Beth Ann is a nurturer of relationships & health. She would love to help you find how Jordan Essentials can gently nurture you and your loved ones.

Jordan Essentials items truly are nurturing since they are healthy skin care solutions. In my late twenties I've started to care more for what's in my lotion, soap, and make-up. Jordan Essential products are botanical based, with no DEA, parabens, isopropyl alcohol, aluminum or mineral oil.

I found a new must-have from Jordan Essentials: the Pedi Stick! It's an adorably sized miracle worker for tired feet. You just roll it over your feet and it massages while it moisturizes. It's seriously heaven. I love ending the day with a lil' self-care this super easy way. I have Naturally Unscented and would love to try it in Peppermint next!

My other heavenly experience was Essential Body Care Basic System! My Basic System is also Naturally Unscented since I'm sensitive to certain scents. The set actually has a natural light, clean scent which doesn't bother me a bit. That's a win-win! This 3 piece system includes a Lotion Bar, 8 oz Salt Scrub, and Shea Body Butter. By using this trio in my shower routine I was able to create a spa-like experience quickly and in my own home!

I'm a huge fan of Salt Scrubs...you name it, I've tried it. Some I've tried have been really chunky salts that hurt my skin, really gooey from all the chemicals, and just left my skin feeling raw and dried out. As soon as I opened the Jordan Essentials Salt Scrub I saw a difference. It's a very fine, very soft and comforting texture. My skin felt refined and literally healthier after my first use. It's wonderful!

The Shea Body Butter (lotion tube) is great too. It's creamy and seals in moisture well. It was a little lighter formula than other brands of similar product and I personally prefer body butter to be thicker.

The Lotion Bar (above) is by far the most unique product from Jordan Essentials & their 1st product! When I opened the tin up it reminded me of soap. I was confused how this could be lotion. But sure enough when I rubbed it on my hands it felt like lotion and protected my skin. It does initially feel lightly sticky and then sinks in. I am addicted to this new, no mess approach to lotion!

I also sampled Jordan Essentials scents in the form of mini lotion bars. What a sweet variety there is from Sea Spa, Banana, 4Him (men), Powder Fresh (baby) to the popular Oatmeal & Honey. A yummy Chocolate Mint Lotion Bar is now on my wish list!

I'm a Jordan Essentials fan for life after my experience with these top-notch products. Give them at try and see how they can heal you, body and mind. Giveaway time!

That's A'more Designs Giveaway + Breast Cancer Awareness Event

Love sisterhood? Hope so, because this review is bursting with the love & strength of sisterhood!

I've been blessed chatting with Ericka and learning about her business and family, which are very interwoven. Ericka and her sister Amanda are two hard working mothers & co-business owners of the elegant and affordable handmade jewelry line called That's A'more Designs

The inspiration behind the business name is too sweet. Erika says, "We choose That's A'more Designs with inspiration from my then 2 year old daughter and my dad. He had taught her to sing, "When the moon's in the sky, like a big pizza pie, that's a'more," anytime she saw the moon at night."

This family is not only sweet, but strong. Erika is supporting her sis-in-law Michelle, age 29, who was diagnosed with breast cancer this past January. I'll be sharing in a bit how you can be involved in the Breast Cancer Awareness Auction she is hosting to benefit Michelle.

First I gotta show off the stunning jewelry of That's A'more Designs, starting with some super unique earrings! Here I'm wearing beautiful orange jade beads paired with rare West African coins. Aren't they just so gorgeous & earthy?

Below I'm wearing an aquamarine Swarovski crystal heart pendent hung on a bright silver chain with a chunky chain section that is topped with another aquamarine Swarovski crystal. Isn't this romantic? It's like a modern take on the classic Titanic necklace!

Ready to see more styles of earrings, necklaces, and bracelets? Shop That's Amore Designs via their facebook page here (so easy to flip through the albums) or shop the website here (wider selection).

Now onto that Breast Cancer Awareness Event I was telling you about! Can we show Michelle the gift of sisterhood by showing support to her & her family?

Here's a lil' bio on Michelle:

Michelle Polley Abbott is the glue that holds her family together. She cares for her mother who has kidney disease. Her husband has served our country as a part of the National Guard, even having served in Iraq. She is a mom to two little boys-ages 4 and 6.  At 29 years old, on January 31st 2013, Michelle was diagnosed with breast cancer. On March 18th she had both breasts removed. Out of the 23 lymph nodes removed under her right arm, 10 had cancer. Michelle is now in stage 3 IDC.

Erika is hosting this Breast Cancer Awareness Event as an auction from May 24-25th via facebook. Would you consider placing a bid on an item to raise support for Michelle's family? Or maybe you are a business owner interested in donating an item for auction? At the very least, please learn about Breast Cancer. The Susan G. Komen website provides many resources, including screening info, how to support a loved one diagnosed and how to get involved.

Everyone who bids during the Breast Cancer Awareness Event will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate for That's Amore Designs! And Ericka is offering one of you a $15 store credit too!

Jamberry Nails Flash Giveaway!

Hey, have you heard of Jamberry Nails? It's a mess free & non toxic way to jazz up a manicure!

Rachael Y. is the sweet consultant who introduced me to some spring Jamberry styles. I enjoyed playing around with the samples she sent me. Gotta admit I was first intimidated by the learning the new application process, but after my first nail (the little mustaches!) it was easy peasy. No spills, no drying time, no smudges. All that was left were beautiful designs I could never pull off with polish.

My 1st Jamberry Nails mani:

I really love that Summer Chevron on my ring finger...makes me happy!

Rachael Y. is now offering one of you the chance to try Jamberry Nails!

Initial Outfitters Review + Giveaway

Disclaimer: I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample for review purposes. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience.

Today I'm excited to review Initial Outfitters, a boutique line of personalized jewelry and gifts!

I recently met Kristi and found she has helped many customers find the perfect item with Initial Outfitters since joining in 2009. Kristi values the relationships, extra income, flexibility and even a FREE vacation cruise that have all come from her business here! Kristi has been super helpful with leading me to find a jewelry piece perfect to wear this coming Mother's Day and everyday!

Here's my lovely Vintage Glass Mother's Pendant, personalized with Julia (my daughter).

I love how classic and meaningful this piece is. It can be personalized with up to three names. Personalization is at the heart of Initial Outfitters!

In addition to classic pieces, Initial Outfitters offers signature pieces like this Fringe Bead necklace.

And unique items like the monogrammed, patterned iPhone Cases!

Honestly my favorite items from Initial Outfitters are the Charlie's Lunch Collection. These cheerful lunchboxes & cookbooks provide an international lunch ministry for more than 750 children. Items in Charlie's Lunch Collection range from $12-$24 and 100% of the profits go toward feeding  hungry children in Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, Zambia and India.

As I've learned recently, Initial Outfitters is a great company for consultants, customers, and children! Would you like to see for yourself? Kristi is offering one reader a $15 Gift Certificate!
