Let her works bring her praise: Sarah Mae

I've never met her, but she's been changing my life, breathing hope and wisdom into it from her words. She's let be a mother, affirming it's a weary way and we can miss the wonder being tangled up in too many things. She lets grace be the glory. She's led the way in cutting back from a life lived too much online. She's let me be an {imperfect} wife, affirming it's time to be real and invest, invest, invest.

And now, she's being faithful to God, to the only one who can direct her paths so lovingly. She's embracing obedience. Always a few steps ahead, I like walking behind this trail she's blazing. In her silence and in her sword of faith. Her life is worthy of such praise.

Thank you Sarah Mae, for being a hero to me.

  1. That's so sweet. Sarah Mae is an amazing woman. I love her. And I too have so much respect for her in how she's been willing to follow after God even when it seems like she's taking steps backward. She's really just bending low in worship.

    1. Hi Alia! Thanks for reading and sharing. I really admire you too as a woman of faith and champion for hope. And yes that's a beautiful point that Sarah Mae is honoring God with her life in this way. I believe He has more for her in time.

  2. I've followed Sarah Mae's blog for a number of years. Although my children are older and I don't walk the same road in mothering, she is truly an inspiration!
