A Christmas of Simplicity: 2013 Home

This year we are {near} home for Christmas!

Christmas travels instead will be {hopefully} light and for the first holiday in a long time, we can enjoy some lazy days and fun adventures as a family of three. No non-stop visiting, no living out of suitcases, guest rooms, and hotel rooms every single day. We can breathe a little more this year.

And we're especially thrilled for no more 15+ hours in the car with a small babe to travel to family. No more wondering what that white stuff is on the side of the road as we reach Illinois. I mean surely cotton didn't blow all the way up here? Oh wait, that's snow. {What a difference a year makes.}

I'm inspired today by bloggers sharing their Christmas decor in the 2013 Tour of Homes. Here's a glimpse of our lil' nest too!

{Celebrating a year of rescue with Exodus Road}

{Celebrating my toddler's love of playing & the snowman she hasn't broken}

{Celebrating our sweet tree & lived in home of 3}

{Celebrating our Kiss Me mistletoe in the kitchen}

{Celebrating little hands making her own decor}

No matter our homes, whether lit up with much cheer or not, grand or small, I'm wishing you the joy of Christ this weekend! It's where all hope may be found.

Love, R + N + J
