Small beginnings.

I love beginnings.

I'm energized & delighted to be beginning new avenues of ministry & freedom the Lord has for me {with writing & more}. I'm beginning to officially blog for justice missions I deeply care about, including Compassion & Exodus Road. I'm connecting with tons more blog readers like you and really sense God has something here for us. I'm looking at new business ventures and discerning God's calling for me in this season of life. I feel Him near saying "walk this way".

I am also terrified of new beginnings...what if I fail? what if I have no influence? where do I start?

I think about my daughter who each day is discovering something new and with each venture comes a mix of trying, failing, succeeding, sometimes tears, and most often smiles.

I want to do life like her: so unafraid, so curious, so persistent {also like her adventurous dad}.

I know where to put my excitement & my fears...in the God who has given me these dreams, these skills, these connections in the 1st place. After all it was only a month or so ago I prayed over:

I literally ached over wanting to be a spokesperson for Compassion ministries & an activist for restoration and wanted tangible ways to do so. Thank you God for being so faithful! (And I can't wait for the day you teach me to paint...I know you have perfect timing for all our God-sized dreams).

Here's to new beginnings!

with redeeming hands,
Rachel

  11. Hi Rachel. Thanks so much for stopping by my page. And yes, He is faithful - always, always! You asked @ clean makeup. Lemongrass does offer a line of mineral makeup, but ours doesn't have Bismuth Oxychloride in it, which is what most people have a reaction to in other mineral makeup brands. In other words, yes, it's clean makeup! I'm glad you found me - now if I can figure out how to add Google Friend to my page - they keep changing everything on blogger lately! -diane
